Mary M. (Toohey) Cellucci

Mary M. Cellucci, 76, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family Monday, March 22, 2021.  She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Richard J. Cellucci, Sr; her son James D. Cellucci and his wife Cheryl of Hudson; her daughter Catherine Scott and husband Matthew of Hudson; her grandchildren: Richard Cellucci, Christopher Cellucci, Gabriella Cellucci, Megan Scott, Kate Scott and Brian Scott all of Hudson; her brothers: John Toohey and his wife Karel of NM and James Toohey and his wife Joan of Marlborough along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Mary was predeceased by her son, Richard J. Cellucci, Jr and brothers: Peter Toohey and Frederick C. Toohey, Jr.

Mary was born and raised in Marlborough the daughter of the late Frederick C. and Irene (Lambert) Toohey.  She graduated St. Anne’s Academy and met and married her husband Richard.  They settled in Stow to raise their family and when the kids got bigger, Mary attended Assabet Regional Technical High School where she earned her degree as a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She was an original member and first Secretary for the Assabet Valley Young Women’s Club, she served on the Board of Directors for Maynard Stow Youth Hockey Association, taught Sunday school at St. Isidore Catholic Church and was a Girl Scout troop leader.  Mary loved the ocean especially Old Orchard Beach, ME in the New England summers and Fort Myers, FL during winters.  Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she never missed a Lacross or Hockey game, a track meet or a dance competition.  Mary will be missed by all who knew her.
