HUDSON- Patrick “Flagg” Joseph Colaluca Jr., a long-time resident of Hudson, passed away Monday, the 3rd of April, at the Milford Regional Medical Center.
Born to Patrick and Jacqueline Colaluca in Boston, Massachusetts in 1950, Pat graduated from Hudson High School and joined the workforce. Pat was a huge animal lover and adopted several elder rescue dogs. He could often be found playing chess or Upwords with loved ones, with a better record for chess than his score for Upwords. He loved the opportunity to cheer his granddaughter on in any of her sports endeavors, especially her basketball games.

He is survived by his sister Deborah Colaluca Small and her husband Francis of Milford; his fiancee Patty Simmons of Hudson; his daughter Amy Scavone and her husband James of Clinton; his son Patrick Colaluca of Lancaster; his stepson Michael Simmons and his wife Beth of Holden; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Simmons and her husband Justin of Sterling; his granddaughter Izzy Scavone of Clinton; his niece Elizabeth Savage and her husband Scott of Hopedale; his niece Caitlyn Small of Milford; his niece Cathleen Desmond of Milford; and several great-nephews and great-nieces.
