Robert Wayne Gregorie

Robert Wayne Gregorie, 82, a lifelong Hudson resident, has gone fishing in heaven, on December 28, 2022, after a period of declining health. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 52 years, Kathleen S. (Murphy) Gregorie.

Robert was born in Marlborough, MA, on February 9, 1940, one of 2 children and the only son of the late Willow A. and Amelia (Palcauskis) Gregorie. He was raised in Hudson, where he graduated from Hudson High School in the class of 1958. Robert subsequently enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, honorably serving his Nation. After completing his military service he returned home to marry the love of his life Kathleen S. Murphy and continued to serve his community as a United States Postal Worker, retiring as a Postal Clerk after many years of dedicated service. He was a former parishioner of Christ the King Church and more recently St Michael Parish in Hudson. Robert was also a former little league coach and was very active in the community as his children grew up; he and his wife, Kathleen, have been longtime supporters and volunteers at the Hudson Food Pantry. Robert enjoyed watching fox news and catching up with his lifelong friends at the Hudson Honey Dew. He was an avid fisherman and you could find him at his favorite fishing holes at either Gates Pond or Lake Boone, every night after supper.

In addition to his beloved wife, Kathleen S. (Murphy) Gregorie, he is also survived by his two children, Danielle M. Gregorie of Hudson and John R. Gregorie and his spouse Derek of Chicago; his sister Sandra J. Gregorie of Westboro and his granddaughter, Drew T. Murphy.

A Celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with his arrangements.
