Ruth E. (Brigham) Morreale

Ruth E. (Brigham) Morreale, 87, of Hudson, passed away peacefully at Marlborough Hospital, on Thursday, December 6, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. She joins her beloved husband, Charles Morreale, Jr., who predeceased her in 2016.

Ruth was born and raised in Framingham, Ma, a daughter of the late Ralph E. and Elsie A. (Holton) Brigham. After briefly living in Weston, Ruth settled in Hudson in 1960, where she still currently resided. She was a member of Saint Michael Parish and a life member at both the Marlborough Loyal Order of the Moose and the Marlborough V.F.W. Ruth was devoted homemaker, who dedicated her life to raising and spending time with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband to Hawaii and Moose Conventions.

Ruth is survived by her 4 children, Linda Martin and her husband David of Clinton, Charles Morreale, III of Colorado, Michael Morreale and his wife Maggie of Hudson and Kathryn LaPrade; a brother, Arnold Brigham and his wife Joan of York, ME, 6 grandchildren, Jennifer Morreale, Tony Morreale, Alex Morreale, Peter LaPrade, Laura LaPrade and Marjorie LaPrade and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was also predeceased by six siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to a period of visitation from 5 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at TIGHE HAMILTON REGIONAL FUNERAL HOME, 50 Central St. Hudson, MA. A funeral service with be held the following day at 10 am on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in the funeral home; followed by a procession to Forestvale Cemetery for burial.
