Sharon was born on October 3, 1945 in West Point NY and received Holy Baptism at home in Highland Falls NY on October 31, 1945. She graduated from Memorial High School, Eau Claire WI 1963.
After graduation Sharon went to work for the Shelgene Theatres in Eau Claire. On New Year’s Eve 1966, on a blind date, she met her future husband, Michael Berg, a student at Wisconsin State University-Stout. It was truly a match made in heaven. They were married on September 13, 1969 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Eau Claire and moved to Marlborough Massachusetts. In 1974 the couple settled in a new home in Hudson where Sharon worked for several organizations as secretary and office manager until retiring in 2003 due to loss of vision. In spite of this loss, she remained cheerful and active for all her remaining years.
Sharon loved being with family and friends and co-hosted many large celebrations with them. A devout Christian, she was an active member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. She spent much time in devotion and prayer with friends and serving various organizations both locally and in the New England District.
