Kenneth Wyman Stahl

Kenneth Wyman Stahl, 69, of Berlin, MA, formerly of Hudson, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester, with his loving family by his side, after a period of declining health.

Ken was born in Waltham, MA on December 8, 1950, the son of the late Raymond F. and Eleanor (Wyman) Stahl. He was raised in Waltham, where he graduated from Waltham High School in the class of 1969 and went on to marry his high school sweetheart, Roxanne M. (LaLime) Stahl. After high school Ken bravely served his Nation in the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Ken began a long career in Public Service. He served as a Waltham Police Officer for several years, later as a court officer for the New Hampshire Courts and also as a DPW worker in Andover, where he retired after 20 years of service.

Ken was a Hudson resident for many years and a member of the Hudson Concord Elks, where he enjoyed playing pool. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, boating and target shooting. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family, especially his 11 grandchildren. He was the Papa who gave the grandchildren Orange Crushes and the personal uber driver for his daughters. His favorite tee shirt was a special gift that said, “Papa. The Man. The Veteran. The Myth, The Legend.”

In addition to his beloved wife Roxanne M, (LaLime) Stahl, he is also survived by 3 daughters, Danielle C. Mahnken and her spouse Karissa of Princeton, N.J., DianaLeigh Andrade and her spouse Kevin of Berlin, MA and Denise M. Holmes of Berlin, MA, 1 son, Timothy Stahl and his fiance Katie of Haverhill, MA; 2 sisters, Elaine Edmunds of Long Island, N.Y. and Karen Sallese of Hudson, MA; 11 grandchildren, Alex Mahnken, Arianna Kozloski, Aidan Kozloski, Connor Madden, Mackenzie Stahl, Jordan Holmes, Kendall Andrade, Hannah Holmes, Amelia Holmes, Amelia Stahl and Tucker Stahl. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his sister, Marrianne Godfrey, his brother, Raymond H. Stahl and his granddaughter, Morgan Stahl.

Services will be held privately at a later date. Tighe Hamilton Regional Funeral Home is honored to be assisting with his arrangements.
